Our Program
Founded in 1963, our Play School program consists of carefully selected and integrated activities designed to encourage growth in the social, emotional, creative, physical and cognitive development of young children. Our objectives are to help children build self confidence, meet new friends and develop positive feelings about the world around them.
We are committed to the belief that children learn by doing. At Play School children participate in a wide range of activities that include music, creative art, movement, storytelling, puzzles, manipulatives, blocks, dramatic play and much more!
Our teacher to student ratio offers the opportunity for individual attention. Parents are encouraged to share in our classroom activities.
Classes start in September and generally follow the Bedford Central School District calendar.
2's Class
Monday through Friday (2 days or 3 days, and schedules upon request)
9:15 - 12:00 (2 year olds)
3's and 4's Classes
3, 4 and 5 day schedules
8:45 - 11:30am (3 year olds)
9:00 - 11:45am (4 year olds)

Pound Ridge Community Church Play School
PRCC Playschool is a non-sectarian, non-profit, nursery school program that welcomes children regardless of race, creed or ethnic origin.
